Benefit Horse Show in Memory of Heidi McClure
Local Horsewoman, Heidi W. McClure died August 12, 2009 in a horse training accident. She is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Devon; parents and sisters; and countless friends, extended family and riding students.
In honor of Heidi’s memory, Buckingham Equestrian Center held a benefit horse show on October 31st, with all proceeds benefiting the trust fund established for Heidi's daughter, Devon.
For those interested in donating, Donations may be made to the Devon R. McClure Trust Fund, c/o Katherine A. Keel, P.O. Box 100, Chase City, VA 23924.
Thanks to all that attended and honored a beloved equestrian and friend on October 31st.
The show was a huge success. Buckingham Equestrian Center plans on holding this benefit show for the next six years until Devon is eighteen years old.

BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER WILL BE HOLDING TWO SUMMER CAMPS THIS YEAR. ONE WILL BE A BEGINNER CAMP AND THE OTHER WILL BE FOR ADVANCED RIDERS. WE WILL ALSO BE OFFERING A SHOW CAMP FOR CHILDREN WHO WANT TO SHOW AND LEARN PROPER PREPARATION TO SHOW. WE WILL HAVE FOUR PROFESSIONALS HERE DURING THIS CAMP WEEK. ONE PROFESSIONAL PER DAY WILL LEAD THE CAMP. THE LAST DAY WILL BE SPENT PREPARING FOR A BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER SHOW ON SATURDAY.
