2008, 2009 and 2010 VHSA Associate Short Stirrup Hunter year end Champions with three different horses. 2008 2009 Iron Slippers 2010 Wellington Congratulations to three wonderful horses! Wellington and Iron Slippers are proudly owned by Buckingham Equestrian Center.

| COURTNEY BAILEY AND IRON SLIPPERS WERE THIRD IN THE YEAR END 2011 VHSA ASSOCIATE PROGRAM SHORT STIRRUP HUNTER DIVISION. COURTNEY HAS ONLY BEEN RIDING WITH BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER FOR A YEAR NOW. SHE TOOK HOME A BLUE IN THE EQUITATION, 2 THIRDS AND AN EIGHTH IN THE HUNTERS AT THE VHSA CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW IN NOVEMBER. SHE IS A GREAT STUDENT AND WE ARE PROUD OF HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS. MARY SAYS, "SHE HAS LEARNED A LOT IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME".

| Courtney Bailey and What a Doll will show together in the 2012 season. The pair will be competing in both the Children's Equitation and the Children's Hunters divisions. Courtney showed "Dolly" last year, just for fun in the final Buckingham Equestrian Center show and was Champion in her division. They are going to be an amazing team once they learn each other. The two just entered their first show of 2012 and came away with a clean sweep in the Low Hunter division. Another champion! Courtney captured yet another Champion at the Buckingham Equestrian Center' January show. Good luck in 2012 Courtney and enjoy Mary Svalstedt's old mount "What a Doll"!

| KATHLEEN SKELLY IS BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER'S LONGEST STANDING SHOW RIDER. SHE HAS BEEN RIDING WITH BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER FOR 7 YEARS NOW. KATHLEEN IS A NURSE BY PROFESSION SO SHE DOESN'T GET TO RIDE THAT OFTEN BUT SHE HAS A GOOD SENSE ABOUT HER. SHE CAN TELL WHAT IS GOING ON UNDERNEATH HER EVEN THOUGH SHE DOESN'T HAVE MUCH "MILEAGE". KATHLEEN TRYS VERY HARD WHEN SHE DOES GET TO RIDE AND DOES WELL WITH HER 5 YEAR OLD PARTNER, "COWBOY". HER MOST RECENT SUCCESS WAS BEING CHAMPION FOR YEAR END IN THE ADULT PLEASURE DIVISION AT BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER IN 2010 AND RESERVE CHAMPION IN 2011. CONGRATULATIONS KATHLEEN AND COWBOY!

| EMMALINE MICHAELS IS ALREADY WINNING IN THE SHORT STIRRUP HUNTER DIVISION. SHE WILL BE ONE TO WATCH OUT FOR IN THE FUTURE. EMMA IS ONE TOUGH RIDER. SHE LOVES TO RIDE AND SHOW. SHE IS PREPARED TO WORK HARD FOR WHAT SHE WANTS AND LOVES TO CANTER AND JUMP. EMMA'S PONY, "CLOE BELLE, AKA, CLOVERCROFT COME AS YOU R" WERE YEAR END CHAMPION AT BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER IN 2009. EMMA JUST WON HER FIRST BLUE RIBBON OVER FENCES IN THE SHORT STIRRUP HUNTER IN OUR JUNE 11, 2011 SHOW! SHE FINISHED THE YEAR END SHOW WITH A BLUE RIBBON AS WELL. BOTH BLUES WERE WON AGAINST TOUGH COMPETITION AND EMMA EARNED THEM OVER FENCES. CONGRATULATIONS EMMA AND MUCH SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE. GOOD JOB ALL SEASON!!!

| Anna Nicole Welch and Call Me Handsome just joined the Buckingham Equestrian Center Show Team. The pair has already had an impressive start to the 2012 show season with a Reserve Champion in the Children's Amateur Adult division. The two vied against tough competitors even though Call Me Handsome is Green. Buckingham Equestrian Center sees a very promising future for the pair. Anna Nicole would like to become a professional someday and is already showing the dedication to become one.

| REBECCA RAGLAND AND WELLINGTON CLEARLY ARE SHOWING THEY ARE ONES TO WATCH OUT FOR THIS YEAR. THEY TOOK BOTH THE GREEN HUNTER AND CHILDREN'S ADULT HUNTER CHAMPIONS AGAINST SEASONED RIDERS. REBECCA ALSO WAS SECOND IN BOTH OF HER EQUITATION CLASSES PUTTING IN A SPECTACULAR TRIP IN HER OVER FENCES CLASS. THEY ARE GOING TO BE COMPETING IN THE VHSA FOR 2012.

| MOLLY RAGLAND AND SIMPLY SOFT ARE NEW TO EACH OTHER THIS YEAR. THE PAIR VIED AGAINST TOUGH COMPETITORS IN THEIR VERY FIRST SHOW. THE SHOW WAS BUCKINGHAM EQUESTRIAN CENTER'S JANUARY 2012 SHOW. THEY ARE LEARNING EACH OTHER AND IMPROVED AS THE DAY WENT ON. THEY TOOK AWAY THEIR FIRST BLUE RIBBONS TOGETHER AND TWO RESERVE CHAMPIONS. THEY WILL BE COMPETING IN THE SHORT STIRRUP HUNTER AND SHORT STIRRUP EQUITATION FOR 2012.

| Spinner's White Cloud and Hayley West came to Buckingham Equestrian Center in early Spring 2010. Hayley wanted to put some polish on her riding skills and asked Mary to help her brush up her skills. The pair also ride with GLC Horse Haven Farm in Farmville. Hayley has worked very hard with "Cloud" and has made huge improvements in her pony's rideability. Buckingham Equestrian Center is very fortunate to have Hayley join our show team. She was the most improved rider at the 2010 VHSA Championship Show.
